Framing
Framing has become
so advanced thanks to the industry of engineered lumber that has
reduced manufactured waste and greatly improved the strength of
lumber. Due to lumber improvements, and the required engineering
demanded by building codes and the craftsmanship of carpenters has
attributed to the advanced framing in houses built today. Framing
begins with plans, material and good carpenters.
The framing process begins at the floor, then to walls and finishes
with the ceiling and roof structure.Then the backing, shear walls
and blocking is installed, and the roof is sheeted with plywood
in most cases.
